Astro (Color)

I took the original red/orange color from the concept sketch and worked with some blues. I liked using a brown instead of black for some pieces. I'm amazed at how the impact of the shapes changed when filled in.

Redesigning characters for http://apandastudio.blogspot.com/. Its exciting to collaborate with my favorite Animator/Designer! Production on this animation is going to be crazy fun.

The image on the far left is a scratch sketch that she had made. The rest are my tests and exaggerations leading to my final line version on the right.

Framed Work

The work always looks so much better when it gets out of the computer and goes up on the walls. On the left is Boots Washington, on the right is a collaboration that Amanda and I worked on together. Its a design of my pup that I am using for long term animation project.
